Jan 1, 2011 · 1997 - 2003 Ford F150 - 1998 ford f-150 turns over but won"t start - I have a 1998 ford F 150 that will not start. It was running a few weeks ago after sitting 2 years . One week later it won't fire . No codes will come up. There is fuel in the throttle body and coil pack checks out. Does anyone have any ideas!!! FF- I think what they're refering to is the fuel cut-off switch. That doesn't control fuel pressure except to either stop the pressure or start it. It simply cut's the fuel pump off in the case of an accident. Also, cranks and turns over are the same thing.
