I just found one of these myself. I thought it was a gasoline tanker truck, and I am having the same issue - i cant seem to interact with the tank. On the other issue, though- the toolbox on the side is "the trunk" as far as i can tell. Pressing E near the toolbox should open it. Reply.

One mod reduces the costs of all propane tasks to 10% but that mod doesn't affect dismantling vehicles, so that would still be broken. Guide / Tip I tend to play on game-settings with extremely rare loot and - perhaps because metalworking is a little underdeveloped - I just assumed that you need to find "single use" propane torches for doing metalworking, and when they're exhausted, that's it.
