I did a print a few days ago and tried tree supports for the first time and they came off really easy with no marks so hopefully it works on the glock. ... PrusaSlicer doesn't have direct support for tree supports, at least not yet. You can fake it to an extend by selecting an SL1 printer, adding SLA-style supports, then exporting the build plate as an STL. An interesting thing happened while printing, nothing to do with the slicer. But last night while printing I opened the doors to my enclosure to take a photo, it must have been enough of a draft to cause a layer shift.As of right now, my only real request would be to allow us to use a modifier to change support type based on a shape. E.g. there's one part of what I am printing where it saves filament & time, with very little impact on print quality to use tight supports and disable only on build plate, but overall using tree on the print is better.SLA supports are far too thin to keep a proper structure, and sometimes can fall under their own weight. Increasing the size of them would just end up with the same (or more) material as classic FDM supports. SLA supports aren't really meant to deal with gravity, as SLA printers print upside down.

Yes, that's how it always appears for me. There's a setting for supports to say how firmly it should touch the model that allows either 0 ( firmly touching), 0.1 or 0.2. At least for me, it defaults to .2. The one thing I printed with supports was the Goose model. It came out fine but the supports were a pain in the ass to remove, and had to be cut and sanded just to look slightly decent. I assumed that was just how it was and did not bother trying again.
