They call for a 12.5 setting and 2 EA 25 LB bags to cover 5000 SF of lawn. Our spreader would run thru almost 2 bags for half the lawn at that setting. What setting should we use with this spreader to cover 5000 SF with 2 25 LB bags?I have NEVER owned or operated a spreader (lesco /anderson or anyother) that apply the correct amount at the recommended setting stated on the bag.
