BWB63. The front axle clamp nuts are 9 ft/lbs. They do break easy. Tighten the top first. This is important also. The front axle needs to be tight (69 ft/lbs). It has to do with making the spacers/bearings solid. You have outer spacers, bearings and an inner spacer. It is important that the front is this tight.It's been hashed over again and again. Some factory mufflers are ridiculously heavy, but not the XR650L muffler. I typically reference the DR650 muffler as a heavyweight, but I should mention that it is stainless steel, as is the rest of the factory exhaust and it will last much longer than other stock or aftermarket mufflers. Yep. I had a 650R for six years and the one thing I DON"T miss is constantly explaining the difference between these completely different models!
