Mar 2, 2017 · Ariens 11528LE Drive Belt Slips Off. I picked up this blower used. The auger wouldn't spin so I replaced auger belt and drive belt they were both chewed up pretty bad. Now the drive and auger both work however the drive belt keeps slipping off. It literally slipped off just sitting in the garage. If they are used, you can only restore them to like 80%. Clean, paint and lubricate will prolong their lifespan. It is normal for a drop of oil to leak out from the sides of the gear case, where the shafts come out. Ariens Deluxe 28 losing power under load. TLDR - New out of the crate Deluxe 28 struggles through as little as 4-6" of snow at the slowest speed, acting as if it wants to stall. Fuel on, choke on run (after a bit of warmup) and throttle on high. Swapped gas (93 to 87) but the machine still seems to be underperforming.tonysak · #13 · Jan 4, 2014. I noticed the same thing. Ariens came out with Model #926056 in July of 2013. This new model has the 420CC engine and an updated version of the Autoturn system.
