Determined old fuel had congealed in carb bowl and main fuel jet assembly. Cleaned the carb and lost the main jet initial setting of turns. Used 1 3/4 initially and that got it started. The 1+1/2 turns are starting place so it will start. Then you make adjustments from there. Screw it up and you simply go back to the starting point of X number of turns. So NBD. I have a Onan Emerald 1 Genset on a 1990 Coachman RV. The generator tries to start but will not continue to run after start button is released. The whole generator shakes alot like it is not firing on all cylinders. I have checked the fuel to the carb and replaced both spark plugs.Is it possible that the ignition coil is bad?Pull out Onan drawer and remove board metal protective cover (Right side / 2 screws) and lightly spray board terminals with WD-40, 2-26 or equal.
