Honda would richly deserve a second kick in the pants for the 2014-2017 model years but with the development and rapid advancement of VCM disable devices (especially the active ones like S-VCM controller and VCMTuner II), pursuing another class-action lawsuit at this point doesn't offer the same bang for the buck.

Study how when you push in the bottom it will lift up the top (like a see-saw). The VCM Tuner II and the S-VCM seem to be the devices of choice with most of the members. Both do, or should, work well. I've had S-VCMs in two Pilots over the last six years and haven't experienced any problems. That said, if you've had two funky ones it makes sense you may feel more comfortable with the Tuner II.
