Sw22 victory vs ruger mark iv.

The buckmark and ruger have a larger after market from what I've seen. I can hit a soda can standing with iron sights from around 50 yards with my 5.5" buckmark with suppressor. I think the S&W gives you more out of the box than the buckmark. I've never had a problem with the Victory.If you are going to use the gun for "plinking and informal target practice" I would suggest you also look seriously at the S&W Victory model. Out of the box it is as accurate as the Ruger with a little better trigger. Plus you can upgrade the barrel using Volquartzen barrels later if you want. It is much easier to replace the barrel than the Ruger.I prefer the Mark III or IV, but not the 22/45 versions. The grip angle feels wrong even though I shoot 1911's often. The standard Mark grip just feels better to me.
